If you're worried about your health why not book a health screening with the Mary How Trust, an independent charity based in West Sussex. It offers health screening that gives a detailed picture of your current state of health and looks for early signs of a number of serious illnesses, including heart disease, diabetes, bowel cancer, prostate cancer, and abdominal aortic aneurysm.
Spotting abnormalities at an early stage increases the chances of early diagnosis of serious illness. Most abnormalities will turn out not to be serious, however your GP will be in a position to carry out further investigations as necessary.
The Trust offers health screenings to anyone over 18 regardless of their ability to pay. It merely asks for a donation towards its cost but this is not compulsory.
