Amazing place for family holiday in Puglia!!

We stayed at Trullove for a week and could have just stayed on. We were a group of three families with teenage (and older) kids and we all absolutely loved it. The main house had enough space for us to prepare meals for the big group (lots of fun) and we could choose to eat outside or inside. Loved the different living areas offered in the main house, the villetta and the trulli, and we really had so much space to enjoy, together and alone. The pool.....what can I say....we would head to the pool as soon as we woke, with our coffee and books, and have a morning swim before heading out for the day's adventures. The house was close enough to nearby villages that we didn't feel as if it just took too long to pop out for supplies. It did take all of us a little time to find the house on arrival, but once we got the lay of the land, it was pretty easy to get around. We have passed on a couple of tips that we thought would be useful for visitors finding the house. Loved Lucia, the property manager who was very helpful with all our questions. We picked apricots from the tree in the garden, used all the herbs from the garden and appreciated the wine, bread, crackers and garlic left for us on arrival. Honestly, the house is probably the best house we have stayed in with a large group, and we all thought that it was really well equipped with an abundance of kitchenware that meant we weren't constantly washing up. Decorated beautifully! Our children all loved their time there, especially with the pool and the table tennis table. Anyway, I could just keep raving about the house, but will leave it for future guests to discover themselves. Oh, one last thing - the requirement to separate rubbish for recycling and compost was great. Thank you so much - we hope to be back some day.

We spent a wonderful week at the trulli in August. The grounds and pool are simply stunning. The house, with its trulli cones and beautiful stone walls is remarkably spacious. We created some delicious meals with the produce we bought at the local markets and ate al fresco at the stone table outside. Perfect! The caretaker, Zohar, is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We (a group of 6 friends) spent an unforgettable week at Trullo Amore at the end of September this year (2014). The site is located on top of a (small) mountain, isolated but yet not far from 2 historical villages. There is nothing that could surpass its atmosphere : a complex with the picturesque and comfortable trulli cone house - houses typical of the whole valley and region (Unesco heritage) - in the midst of a wealth of flowers, fruit and olive trees and located right in the heart of Puglia, a region rich with history. Not only did we enjoy the peace and quiet of this location but we also stretched our legs making a few cycling trips. Either we went on one of the signposted cycle routes (Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino), or we ventured on routes we had mapped ourselves. On our return to 'our Trullo Amore home' a dip in the large swimming pool was always our reward. As we were on holiday we preferred eating out (though the kitchenettes in our trulli houses were excellently equipped). Within reasonable driving distance there are plenty of not at all expensive but still classy restaurants with honest food, typical of the region.

We were a group of 16, staying in Trullove in August 2012 and August 2013. 16 People means 4 families with kids from 1 to 16. What can I tell: It was like 'Paradise on Earth'. The house, the pool, the surrounding... A lovely swim in the morning - then cycling (yes we brought our bikes!) with the kids to the mini-market at the fuel-station for a 1st coffee, getting lovely buns for the breakfast at the huge stone table in front of the house. Then you could decide: Stay at home (And we felt like home!) and spend a relaxing day at the magnificent pool or discover all the beautiful towns in the neighborhood. We went cycling (find the way along acquedotto Pugliese!) went to the Adriatic beaches near Ostuni and Monopoli or Pulsano on the Ionian Sea. Martina Franca, Ceglie, Ostuni... so many lovely towns to visit, Don't forget to go to Bari, Lecce or Matera... There are many good restaurants in the area - so no problem if you don't want to cook. But it was the house that made us feel like home: A perfect kitchen with everything to need for preparing a dinner for 16!. Everything was tidy and clean and decorated with love. The place is large enough to give enough privacy for everyone but you have inside and outside the opportunity to sit and eat together. One night we had our personal chef preparing a fantastic dinner. So lt was like paradise on earth. And what you can feel: It is not like staying in a hotel or ordinary holiday home. It is the home of Lu and Eric and they share it with you. We can highly recommend the place and will definitely come again.
