Stunning villa with pool and games room - Ref:110019

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday in a fantastic villa. This villa had everything that a family of varying ages needed. Obviously, the swimming pool was a great success, but the older children (and adults!) loved the games room and the infants had lots of toys to play with. On the catering side, we had all the equipment we needed. I would thoroughly recommend this villa for the perfect family holiday. Thank you Jackie and Barbara for making our week special. Nothing was too much trouble.

We loved our time there. We had 6 kids of ages ranging 4 to 15 and they were always entertained with the pool, the pool table and the table tennis table. The proximity to Martina Franca, which is so beautiful, is fantastic for shopping and eating out. We absolutely loved it.

A haven of peace and tranquillity, away from the hubbub, but within very easy reach of wonderful towns. This spacious villa is equipped with everything we needed and is perfect for large groups. Lots of fun was had swimming, playing pool and ping pong. The owners have tastefully furnished and decorated it, whilst keeping it practical and comfortable at the same time. Great place to recharge one's batteries and recuperate.

I stayed at Villa Tracey for 5 days in early October this year, with a group of 4 friends. Just not long enough!

The Villa is excellent - spacious, airy and with everything anyone could possibly need. The beds and pillows were really comfortable.

There was a lovely outdoor seating area conveniently by the front door, which was where we spent most of our time when not out and about.

The pool is a good size, and I was sorry that, due to the time of year, we didn't make more use of it. Beside the pool is a BBQ and huge outdoor covered kitchen/dining area, which again, I'm sorry we couldn't have made more use of.

The basement games/leisure room is amazingly well equipped, with full-size table tennis table, pool table, table football, darts, punch-bag and boxing gloves, as well as a huge flat screen TV and DVD player.

A pity my grandkids hadn't been with us - they'd have had a ball. A big 'thank you' to Jackie, for organising everything so well, and for all her help and advice about the local area - places to see, taxis, restaurants, etc.

Brilliant short break. I'd go back tomorrow if only I could!

Stayed at Villa Tracey in October. Relaxing and well maintained villa and comfy beds and bed linen. Stay made even better by the input of Jackie who was able to give key recommendations for things to do and where to eat even down to the booking. Having never been to Puglia before pleasantly surprised by the food, wine quality and local towns/scenery. Olive oil tour a must. Would recommend the area and the villa and this rental company for something a bit different.

A beautifully and thoughtfully constructed and decorated villa Large bedrooms and ideal for big groups of friends or family with high quality linens. Enough to entertain even the most busy of minds! The games/ entertainment space is awesome and will keep young and old alike busy during the hottest part of the day.

Well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to entertain The outside area is well thought out and eating al fresco is easily achieved with BBQ and pizza oven and a big outdoor kitchen.

The pool has a deep end which my husband thought was a great idea and a shallow end for the little swimmers.

The feel of the house is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay here. The house is close to Martina Franca where there are some amazing eateries.

The management team of Jackie, Sheree and Barbara are extremely helpful and will assist with almost everything.

They have a full list of activities that they can book for you including wine tour, 0live oil tour, a cook, a boat trip etc etc. Jackie is a wealth of knowledge on the local areas, where to eat and where to go. Highly recommend this villa.

We were a party of 10 adults and 3 children all under 1 year old.

This accommodation worked well for us with the Grandparents having the two bedrooms downstairs and the others with babies had the 3 bedrooms upstairs.

We were attending a family wedding but needed to get to the Puglia region early as flights did not work for the wedding weekend. We have never been to this region of Italy before but there are some beautiful towns to visit. Do your homework on what you want to see.

Cars are essential if you stay at this villa.

The letting Agents are very helpful and accommodated our requirements well and answered all emails promptly They offer a meet and greet, which is some way from the airport but they send out very good directions.

The accommodation is a private home that is let out and has everything you need for a large party, the kitchen and dinning area inside are well equipped and set out.

There is an outside kitchen with hob and pizza oven which is worth trying. (a tip is to put your pizzas onto foil as getting them in and out of the oven is not easy. Keep your pizza bases separate too or use oiled foil to separate them as they stick).

The pool is a good size and there is a covered outside dinning area. Plenty of sunbeds and pool towels are provided. There is also a laundry room in the basement / games room area.

We were happy staying here.

We were a party of 3 families; 6 adult and 4 children. We were welcomed by Barabara; who is an amazing lady; who thinks of everything. From the minute we arrived we were impressed by the quality, facilities, size and location of Villa Tra Cey. Our favourite part of the villa had to be the outdoor kitchen; we didn't really eat out as we loved sourcing the food and cooking it between us. The Martina Franca location is very central and only 15 minute drive from Aberobello. We're all eager and hopeful to return; we couldn't fault anything about the holiday; including the information and correspondence with Jackie at Puglia Holiday Rentals.

Impeccably clean and the meet and greet by Barbara was very welcome given that we were quite late having been held up by the car hire people.

The supply of games and floats, etc for the pool was very much appreciated by our grandchildren.

The initial visit by the chef to demonstrate pizza making was a great success and allowed us to make our own for the rest of the week.

The only minor disadvantage was a long trip for supplies from the local supermarket but a small price to pay for such a lovely stay.

The accommodation was perfect, we wouldn't change a thing, a great space for 2 large families to enjoy. The occasional thunder and lightning storms were very exciting especially for the young children who have never experienced these before. Enjoyed trips our to Alberobello and Ostuni as well as the beach @ Castelanna Maria. All well worth the trip. Great local wines and cheese. Loved the pizza oven. Massive thank you to Barbara who has been a fantastic host and has been on hand for everything we have needed.

I couldn't be happier after my stay here in Villa Tracey. Just a slice of heaven on earth, really. I shall miss my morning swims, haven't slept so well in a very long time. We were a mixed age group of 7 people and from the moment we were met by the lovely Barbara the whole experience was faultless. Villa Tra Cey had everything we could possibly need and more, to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The whole villa inside and out was perfectly clean, with well appointed bedrooms & bathrooms, comfortable beds, lots of chill out space, and a kitchen so well equipped we had a job to keep one of our party out of it. The outdoor space was fantastic, with more than enough comfortable sun loungers for all, and plenty of comfy shaded areas for those of us that needed it. The pool was a delight to swim in with easy access and very well maintained. We practically lived in the outdoor kitchen/bbq and dining space near the pool. A perfect spot for eating and also for all those "pre dinner drinks & sun downers" we just had to have whilst admiring the superb views surrounding the villa. We found some absolute gems of local restaurants serving local dishes and wines in Locorotondo and Alberobello, made a visit to the I Pastini winery (large purchases made) and even went to the Aquapark Egnazia at Monopoli. All great fun, nearby and very easy to get to. We were lucky enough to have the amazing Lucrezia cook for us the most beautiful dinner one night. Words do not describe how delicious her food was, all local and served with huge pride but also eaten with great gusto. Loved it! We stayed at Villa Tracey for a week for my sister's wedding. What a lovely villa. Such a peaceful location and had everything we could ask for. Even 'The Hoff' called around and loved how the villa looked. Barbara was so helpful and welcoming and made us feel at home. We only wished we could have stayed for longer. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Beautiful area and so close to Martina Franca and Locorotondo. We are all devastated we are back home. Thank you for a fantastic holiday. We booked this villa for a family holiday to celebrate two special birthdays. Our party included three families, three generations of seven adults and three children. From the initial contact with Jackie at Puglia Holiday Rentals right up until departure, we could not have asked for a better or more professional service. The villa had everything a large group could possibly need to ensure that everyone was able to relax and enjoy the many facilities the villa had to offer. Everyone was well catered for from the large screen TV including Sky to watch the world cup, table tennis, snooker table, punch ball, the toys for the small children and the amazing swimming pool. The swimming pool and outside lounging area were fabulous and very well used as we had amazing weather. In particular, we enjoyed the outside kitchen and the large table for "Al Fresco" dining. We had several BBQ's, made Pizza and as a special treat we had the wonderful Lucrezia come and cook a fantastic meal for the actual birthday celebrations. The property was spotless when we arrived and was very well maintained. The kitchen was well appointed and everything we needed was there. The pool man came several times to ensure the pool was cleaned and in perfect condition for our stay. The area around Villa Tracey is amazing. We enjoyed eating out and visiting the many special towns just a short drive away. We went to Alberobello, Martina Franca, Ceglie Messapica, Locorotondo & the beautiful Cisternino. Each town was special and we had some amazing meals with lovely friendly service. We particularly enjoyed our meal at Osteria Bell'Italia in Cisternino, so much so that we went back for our last night in Puglia. We did a wine tour & tasting at I PASTINI and an Olive Oil tour & tasting at L'Acropoli di Puglia. Both were extremely good, very informative and the owners gave very interesting presentations in English. Both tours had been recommended by Jackie and are well worth doing. We also had a day at the AcQuapark Egnaizia which was great fun for all but especially the children big and small. We had a day at the beach too which was fabulous. We did quite a lot in our two weeks, but also feel that there is still a great deal to see and do in the Puglia and would love to return one day. A special mention must be given to the wonderful Basia, who could not have been more enthusiastic, helpful or friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and anything we asked she had the answer.

Très bien équipée, nous n'avons manqué de rien, si ce n'est d'un peu plus de temps pour vraiment en profiter à fond !! Un petit coin de paradis, à peine 10 minutes des commerces. We stayed at Villa Tra Cey for a week at the beginning of May this year. The villa was absolutely beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. There were 8 of us in total being 6 adults and 2 children. The service we received from Jackie was also excellent. We did have a couple of issues with the hot water and each time Angelo (the maintenance man) was there within a matter of minutes. Jackie did also advise us that they would be having a new boiler installed after our stay to ensure the problems did not reoccur. She booked trips and restaurants for us and it really felt like nothing was too much trouble. The pool and games room in the villa were great and we found a prefect mix of chilling out at the villa and going out exploring the local towns. The outside kitchen area was also great and we used this nearly all week. I would not hesitate to go back to this villa if we visited the area again and thanks to Jackie for all of her help. A real pleasure to find such good service these days!!

This is a stunning villa, we had the most beautiful 2 week holiday here, we have a large family with 5 children ranging from 2-18 years old. This accommodated all ages with actives at the villa or in the surrounding towns to keep all the kids happy! The food is amazing, with towns very close by perfect for going out to dinner in the evenings, the beach being only 30 minutes away was great. The property was greatly equipped, very child friendly. Would love to return next year, would highly recommend it!!

It ticked all the boxes and more. We were a family party of eight adults and six children celebrating the two seniors' 50th wedding anniversary. The Villa was superbly appointed and nothing was found wanting. Originally advertised as sleeping only 13, another mattress with pillows and sheets was provided to satisfy our total complement of 14 and easily accommodated as appropriate in one of the large bedrooms. Our group of 14 comprised: First family - the parents/grandparents (2); Second family - two parents one child aged 6; Third family - two parents and two children aged 9 and 7; Fourth family- two parents and three children 11, 10 and 8. All appeared comfortably separated and at no time were we tripping over each other. There was plenty of seating for everyone in the villa, in the veranda, the sun beds round the swimming pool and in the covered eating area outside. The weather temperature varied between 29 degrees and 26 degrees and we had two thunderstorms. The highlight of the holiday was undoubtedly the swimming pool especially for the children who had great fun with the armchair and lilo floats and the underwater water jet against which they could improve their swimming strength (the never ending pool). Another highlight was to have a traditional Italian meal provided by a local lady, Lucrezia. Delicious! Another highlight was to use our skills with the pizza oven in the outside cooking area adjacent the outside covered eating area which adequately accommodated our 14. Villa Tra-Cey lies in between Martina Franca and Locorotondo and is about a one hour drive from Brindisi or Bari airports. Because it is off the beaten track, Jackie Lear, the Puglia Holidays Rental representative, gave us sat-nav and clear instructions to rendezvous at the local Simone petrol station and Itria Caffe before the final couple of kilometres. She provided us with excellent customer service. Each morning we collected scrumptious croissants from the cafe. The property was beautifully clean on arrival and appeared well maintained. It was also very secure with electronic gates. The £750 damage cover was promptly returned despite our accidentally breaking two tumblers and a wine glass. The large amount is understandable for the equipment at risk: there is a full size snooker table with green baize in the games room in the basement and a very large TV with electronic games equipment. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Villa Tra-Cey.

When booking a villa over the internet we are cautious. Happily we can recommend this company for efficiency and helpfulness. There were no problems of any significance and we have no hesitation in saying you will not be disappointed with either the villa or the management. Even though the weather was half and half sunny, we enjoyed our stay very much this October.

It was wonderful, especially for two families with lots of children - everybody was HAPPY!!!

The Villa lived up to its description and photos on the website. We loved having the outside kitchen and ate all our meals out there.

The Villa was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. We really could not fault it and was the perfect size for 11 of us.

Lots of helpful information both before our arrival and when we arrived and you were very prompt at meeting us at the garage.

It was the Wyld family second visit to Puglia in the last three years . Our last visit was with friends staying just outside Ostuni.

Villa Tra-Cey lived up to all expectations and more. There were 11 of us in the party and at no time did we feel on top of each other.

We had a lovely airy bedroom with shutters which enabled us to sleep in.

A fabulous villa which was very well equipped and we loved the outdoor kitchen area and living area.

Situated too in the most lovely part of Puglia, with rich soil and of course the Trulli houses.

We will be back.

Very chilled by the pool and enjoying very leisurely breakfasts, lunches and dinners sampling local wines and wonderful produce from the markets at Cisternino and Martina Franca.

We visited Alberobello and the wonderful trullo houses and ate Pizza in a wonderful restaurant. Enjoyed a meal at Garibaldi's in Martina Franca, very authentic cuisine from Puglia.

WE MADE PIZZA. It was very interesting and challenging experience, but so glad we did it.

What a wonderful villa and the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday with all the family! The games room has had plenty of use and lots of fun. I want to stay here in this wonderful location and will be back for sure.

We were quite lucky with the weather so were able to use the pool area and outside kitchen.

The setting is just fantastic and the kids have had a brilliant time playing in the garden (land) and exploring.

We explored the area and had some lovely trips our but just enjoyed being here. The Italian meal here via the private cook was wonderful, a real treat and the olive oil tasting a really great experience. A really wonderful holiday!

Perfect spacious house for all 10 of us. The weather has been great - we had a bathe in the pool and the sea on both sides of Italy. To the owner, you have a beautiful house that we enjoyed to the full.

Being foodies we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor kitchens, which were the best equipped we've known.

The pool area was relaxing with the right amount of sun and shade and we enjoyed the almonds very much. We're tempted to come back when the persimmon are ready!

We leave with some skill in table tennis and having played on the Xbox for the first time, again thanks. Jackie's service was fantastic, We loved the little snippets of local information and enjoyed the wine tasting.

Leaving after a family holiday! The villa and all it's amenities served us very well (eleven of us ranging from 3 to 70 years old). We all had fun and enjoyed ourselves very much and meal times were the highlight of the day; we are all keen cooks and there was plenty to satisfy us - BBQ, pizza, oven, etc. It was really lovely to be able to all get around the large table and enjoy good food, wine and conversation. The area is really lovely and the trullis unique. Blessed with great weather, we are all returning sun kissed to our various homes (Singapore, Manchester, Cumbria and Northampton!). Thank you so much for the professional and friendly dealings from booking through to oil tasting and wine tasting. We were well looked after. We have had a brilliant holiday shared with our great friends MC and the Colonel. We have barely left the pool kitchen which is a wonderful feature. Thanks so much to the management team for our welcome and to Rosy who has been superbly helpful. We can't wait to return.
