The Banana Club   in Ceglie  is open to visitors and consists of a large swimming pool where lessons can be had, 5 a side football and 7 a side football pitches, bar and restaurant. Various events, such as outdoor cineme, football tournaments, karaoke, dancing, etc take place throughout the summer.

Acqua In at the Villaggio Lamaforca, just outside Ostuni (exit for Torre Pozzelle on the E55/SS379) has slides, swimming pools, children's lagoon, restaurant, games room, etc. There is an aqua aerobics class mid morning for the more energetic. 

Extras such as sun beds and lockers are paid for separately. Inside the park is a fully equipped billiards-games room, and a playground area for children.

The park is open to the general public only from 09.00 to 19.00. There is also an outdoor parking area.

With over 2,000m² of swimming pools, plenty of water slides and tubes and a bar and picnic area,  Curtipetrizzilandia Acquapark in Cellino San Marco, just north of Lecce, will appeal to all members of the family. There is also a fairground, Red Indian village, a mini zoo, a jungle play area and a dinosaur park.       

Open from April - September, 10.00 - 18.00. The fairground is open until 20.00     

The    Grotta di Castellana, Italy's longest natural subterranean network of limestone caves, over 3 km long, and contain stalagmites and stalactites, other crystal formations and a fascinating variety of dripstones. There are guided tours of the caverns throughout the year. This is well worth a visit and could be combined with a visit to the nearby Astronomical Observatory.     

Catering for all age groups and levels the Indiana Adventure Park allows you to test your stamina and agility following a series of treetop trails in a forest of trees just outside Castellana. All safety equipment is supplied such as helmets, harnesses, etc are supplied.

The park is open from March to November and each ticket allows you a maximum of 2.5 hours in the park.

In addition to the usual pools, slides, pool and flumes, and for those who don't want to get wet there are other attractions and play grounds, restaurants and ice cream bars.

The water park is open from mid June to mid September.

 For a family day out with young children the Zoo Safari Park in Fasano is ideal. There is a drive through area where the animals are free to roam in an environment that has been designed with the original habitat of each species in mind. Once through the safari area you can park the car and take a ride in the panoramic train and watch the brown bears, polar bears, seals, hippos and rhinos, stroll through the monkey village, watch the dolphin show, etc. When you tire of watching animals there is a fairground with rides that most age groups will enjoy.

In addition to the animals there is also a 3D cinema, puppet and fairground. Something for all the family to enjoy.
