Trulli Dei Due Pini with private pool and air con - Ref:110126

Set out in the beautiful countryside of the Valley D’Itria is Trulli Dei Due Pini. A recently restored large 4 coned trullo/villa and a separate 1 bedroom trullo ensuite a few paces away, sleeping up to 8 people. The large swimming pool with sun loungers, gazebo with cushioned seating offers a great place to just relax, unwind and soak up the Puglian sun.

TRULLO / VILLA

Entering in from the Kitchen French doors:

KITCHEN / DINING AREA

The kitchen is well equipped with full size oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, capsule coffee machine and of course plenty of pots, pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery. There is space to prepare food nearby to the cooker on the worktop and above we have air-con.

The long feature window looks out onto the front of the property and the beautiful Borgainvillea.

The dining table nearby with chairs and cushioned seating seats up to a maximum of 10 people.

HALLWAY

There is the washing machine and a cupboard containing the iron and ironing board together with some cleaning materials for guest use.

Leading from the hallway into:

VILLA BEDROOM 1

The light and airy bedroom is furnished with a double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, a large chest of drawers and a double wardrobe.  The French doors have a shutter for privacy and sleeping at night and lead out a small patio area overlooking the pool.

Notes: It is possible to put a travel cot into bedroom 1 if required.

Opposite bedroom 1 is:

BATHROOM 1

There is a big bath with a rain shower head and a hand shower attachment above, wash hand basin with mirror nearby and shelf for storing your toiletries, WC and heated towel rail

LOUNGE AREA

Situated under one of the trullo cones is the cosy relaxation space with 2-seater sofa and large bean bag type chair. There is a smart TV and a small table for your drinks and snacks. The window looks out to the front of the property and has a shutter for privacy.

From an archway in the lounge area the area opens up to:

TRULLO ALCOVE AREA BED 3

Situated under two stunning trulli cones you will find a double bed under the small cone with reading light above, a beautiful decorated screen at the bottom of the bed, a comfortable large single seater sofa bed** and an open wardrobe for storage. There is also an air-con unit in this area.  .  The French doors have a shutter for privacy and sleeping at night and lead out to the front of the property.

** The single seater sofa can be made as a single bed on request

Leading from this area through the door to:

TRULLO BEDROOM 2 (ensuite)

Again, situated under a big trullo cone this room has a double sofa bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, a small chest of drawers and an open wardrobe for storage. The window looks out of the back of the property over the land and trees and has a shutter for privacy.

A door leads to:

There is a large walk-in shower with a rain shower head and a hand shower attachment, wash hand basin with mirror nearby and shelf for storing your toiletries, WC and heated towel rail

Back outside again the Trullo-Villa and the smaller Trullo are separated by approximately 6 metres in distance, across the way to the pool.

Entering from the private patio to:

TRULLO PICCOLO BEDROOM 4 (ensuite)

Set under a huge trullo cone with stone walls and original wooden beams there is a double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, an open wardrobe for storage, a small area for preparing hot drinks with hot plate and a little under counter refrigerator. The picture window looks directly out to the pool and has a privacy shutter as does the main door.

ENSUITE BATHROOM 3

OUTSIDE

There are many areas to relax and enjoy the sun and peace of the countryside.

POOL

The saltwater pool is set a few paces away from the trullo/villa.  It measures 10m x 4m and is approximately 1.5m deep. It is entered via the roman steps at the shallow end.  Alongside the pool and surrounding area we have 8 sun loungers for you to relax on.  There is also a childs swing nearby.

POOL GAZEBO

The large pool gazebo with cushioned seating provides shade from the sun and a comfortable place to relax.

TRULLO/VILLA PATIO - AL FRESCO DINING

Directly outside of the kitchen doors is the al fresco dining area under the gazebo where the table seats up to 8 people so you can enjoy delicious food.

Also at the front of the property is a huge concrete space which is great for playing ball games etc.

TRULLO PICCOLO PATIO

Outside of the smaller trullo area is a patio area with a brick built BBQ and lovely view over some well established trees and shrubs.  Great for some sunbathing in privacy but also shade too.

IN GENERAL

Go explore the 22,000 sqm of land that the property occupies. There is an abundance of olive, fig, plum, apricot, apple, pear, Sharon fruit, hazelnut, almond and walnut trees.

PARKING

There is private parking off road parking for at least 4 cars.

CHILDREN

We have aimed to provide a relaxing comfortable space for you to enjoy. We recognise that children and those young at heart need entertaining, with this in mind we provide, a smart TV, internet, volley ball for the pool, boules, some pool floats, cards, board games and a few toys.

We also provide free of charge for babies a travel cot and highchair  Please note that we do not provide linen for the travel cot as often babies have sensitive skins, this you need to bring.

EXERCISE

There are some yoga mats and kettlebells for guests use.

All windows and doors have mosquito nets.

There is a portable Bose bluetooth speaker for you to connect to for music

The property has underfloor heating in the trullo/villa, an alarm, fire extinguishers and a smoke alarm

AIRPORTS

The nearest airport is Brindisi approx 45 min drive and Bari at approx 1 hour 10 minutes

LOCAL INFO

At the property you will find a house book full of lots of information on what to do and where to go. Also, on arrival we will only too pleased to give you more information according to your interests.

There is a local café/bar/shop/deli a 5 minute drive away which sells freshly cooked food at lunch time to takeaway. Next door to this is Sale and Pepe restaurant for delicious evening food. So it you don't fancy going into town you don't need to.

Ceglie Messapica is 10 minutes drive away and is known as a gastonomic centre, where you can find an abundance of restaurants from pizzerias to a high-end eateries.

The beautiful town of Martina Franca is 15 minutes drive away and is full of baroque architecture, is host to an annual Opera and music festival and has a huge market every Wednesday.

Cisternino a town high up on a hilltop has fantastic views over the Valle D'Itria and surrounding countryside.  Its centro storico (old town) is charming and has plenty of shops, cafe/bars and restaurants for all budgets and tastes.  This too is just over 10 minutes away by car.

Alberobello with its town of many trullis, Castellana Grotte and the interesting cave tours, Locorotondo with wineries to visit and no trip would be complete without a visit to Lecce (known locally as the Florence of the South).

Torre Canne is the nearest beach, but there are many beautiful beaches and areas of more rugged coastline both on the Adriatic and Ionian coast in easy driving distance.
