Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Puglia, just a stone’s throw from the charming town of Cisternino, lies a breathtaking modern trullo/villa that exudes luxury and comfort. This exquisite property boasts state-of-the-art air conditioning, ensuring a cool and pleasant atmosphere even during the warmest Italian summers.... Step outside, and you’ll find yourself in a serene oasis, complete with a sparkling pool that invites you to jump in and escape the heat. The pool area is thoughtfully designed to provide an indulgent sunbathing experience, allowing guests to soak up the sun in a tranquil and beautiful setting. Sleeps 4

After passing the electric gates of the property which leads to the parking area where there is enough parking for 3 cars.

A short pathway leads to the entrance door where you will find:

KITCHEN

A modern kitchen which is well equipped with gas hob, oven, microwave, large fridge with freezer, dishwasher, wine chiller, Nespresso capsule coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and plenty of pots and pans and crockery for your use. There is a breakfast counter and 4 bar stools to enjoy time together whilst cooking dinner.  The kitchen also benefits from aircon and under floor heating, huge french doors opening out to the pool area. For shade and privacy there full roller blinds. The washing machine is housed in a nearby utility room.

Leading from the kitchen to:

DINING ROOM / LOUNGE

This light and airy room has a dining table and 6 chairs to enjoy your tasty Italian food.  Nearby is the long four seater sofa with modern TV. The room has air-con and huge french doors opening out to the pool area. For shade and privacy there are curtains on every window. There is air-con and under floor heating

Back in the kitchen the corridor leads off to the night area.

Through the beautiful wooden door and situated under a stunningly large stone trullo cone is:

TRULLO BEDROOM and TRULLO BATHROOM

This room has a large double bed, ledge either side of the bed, air-con and the window overlooks the gazebo area by the pool. The window has a shutter for privacy and close out the light should you wish.

Directly next to the trullo bedroom is the bathroom with walk-in shower with rainshower head and separate hand held attachment, wash hand basin, WC with bidet attachement, heated towel rail and shelving for toiletries

There is a double wardrobe and some drawers for the trullo bedrooms guest in the night corridor.

From the night corridor again a door lead to:

BEDROOM 2 with ENSUITE BATHROOM

Light and airy with a barelled stone ceiling, this room can be made as a double room or twin on request. There is a double wardrobe with drawers for guests use and the window looks out onto the front of the property. There is air-con and under floor heating

The door leads to the bathroom with large walk-in shower with rainshower head and separate hand held attachement, wash hand basin, bidet, WC, heated towel rail and shelf for your toiletries.

OUTSIDE

POOL

The beautiful pool measures 9m x 3m in the main part with two area coming from it, the first being steps down into the pool, which are great for sitting on and reading a book and the second square area with jacuzzi feature to enjoy.  The depth is 1.3m throughout.

Along side the pool are 4 comfortable sun loungers.

GAZEBO

Enjoy the shade of the gazebo and relax on the large sofa or armchairs. A great way to unwind at any time.  Situated under the gazebo you will also find an outdoor prep area, sink, eating area and 4 bar stools along with the gas BBQ nearby.

SAUNA

Next to the pool is the 4 person sauna.  It is said that some of the benefits of using a sauna are improved sleep, relaxation, detoxifcation and helps improve your skin.  We invite you to use it and tell us.

OUTDOOR SHOWER

Near to the pool is the outdoor shower

EXTRA EATING AREA

There is also a further eating area down the side of the property with a fixed seating for 4 and a table.

Other information:

The Trullo is well lit at night outside and the pool looks stunning.

There is air-con throughout except for the bathrooms

Iron, ironing board and hairdryer all available for guest use.

There is an alarm which is easy to use.

SURROUNDING AREA

Trullo Cisternino is a wonderful place to relax but if you fancy venturing out, the surrounding countryside and the Acquedotto Pugliese where there is a pathway for walkers and cyclists are all there to be explored is really nearby.

NEAREST CAFÉ / RESTAURANT 

Five minutes in the car will take you to Almond Cafe.    You can also walk here easily through the lanes from Trullo Cisternino and it will take approximately 30 minutes to do so.  The Café/Bar/Ice cream parlour is open most days and serves great coffee and cornetti for breakfast, omelettes etc and some tasty snacks at lunch time. Their pancakes and ice cream area real hit with the locals.  In the summer evenings the garden is lovely and a bigger menu is available

The countryside restaurant Sale N Pepe is 5 minutes drive away and serves typical local dishes, pizzas and delicious cuts of meat.

FURTHER AFIELD

The town of Cisternino is under 10 minutes drive away and Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca are all just over 10 minutes drive where you will find everything you need for your stay.  There are some excellent restaurants, with prices to suit all budgets.  At the property you will find a detailed house book of what to do/see whilst on holiday.  We suggest some places that are off the beaten track and are always happy to make further suggestions when you are here.
